Despite having invested many months of effort and resources in planning this event, coupled with 11 years of experience organising successful Antique Fairs, we have had no alternative but to do this. Sadly, we have been confronted by a concerted campaign of bad press to run down our Twickenham fair which was being conducted prior to the first event and subsequently since then.
Fortunately, we know who is responsible for this as many kind people have come forward to inform us that this malicious, unprofessional behaviour has been taking place.
We would like to thank all the people who supported our Twickenham fair in April and we apologise for any inconvenience this decision has caused. In the meantime, we look forward to seeing everyone at all our other venues.
V&A Fairs take great pleasure in announcing they have been invited to organise the Twickenham Antiques, Vintage & Collectors Fair at Richmond upon Thames Community Sports Centre in Twickenham, starting on Sunday 1st April 2012. This fair will be followed by three further dates during the year on 10th June, 2nd September and 4th November.
This quality fair which has the capacity to hold 80 inside stands, is conveniently situated on the main A316, next to the Stoop Memorial Ground (home of the Harlequins Rugby Club) and opposite the world famous Twickenham Rugby Ground, being only 20 minutes from Central London! The venue also has the added bonus of offering free parking for everyone and has excellent flat unloading access for standholders. This new Antiques Fair will also incorporate Vintage, Stamps, Postcards & Ephemera and we would like to encourage these dealers to join us - a warm welcome is extended to all.
The combination of a superb location, free parking, AA Road signs, extensive marketing and competitive stand prices will certainly make this a very popular event with everyone during 2012.
AA Road signs will be in place to guide everyone to the fair.
Standholders are advised to make advanced reservations for the Twickenham Antiques Fair as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.
